  • A great day with great people & great Music lineup

by JacG on 4/6/25Bendigo Jockey Club - AscotRating: 5 out of 5

Great fun day. Atmosphere is great. Love meeting lots of lovely people and dancing the day/night away. For the organisers -- more than 1 coffee van would be great. Its always at least a half hour wait to get a coffee. 1 coffee van cannot cope with the number of people at these events. One time we waited nearly 1 hour for 2 coffees. Ridiculous. Step it up organisers on booking at least 2 coffee vans. And even tho some food vendors say they do coffee, its not the same as a good brew from an experienced coffee van, and they dont have the time when serving food is their priority. Parking for the disabled is always tricky, with sometimes not even being able to get close to the gate. Again another issue for the organisers.

  • Great but…

by CQ Jeff on 22/5/25Sandstone Point Hotel - Sandstone PointRating: 4 out of 5

Sandstone Point great venue & facilities, weather was out of anyone’s control. Sound mix for ZZ was very ordinary for such a top act. Still an awesome day!

  • ZZ Top Topped the Day

by Markie on 19/5/25Sandstone Point Hotel - Sandstone PointRating: 3 out of 5

ZZ Top were fantastic! Entertaining and so tight as a group. Been waiting to see them live for a long time and Billy and the boys didn't disappoint! The other standout for me was The Living End - how good is Chris Cheney!!! The only thing that sucked was the weather and the muddy ground :(

  • It was awesome except for the mud!

by Pete on 13/5/25Sandstone Point Hotel - Sandstone PointRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the whole show. The Aussie bands really held their own. Love ZZ Top- 2nd time i have seen them. However have to say Baby Animals always deliver 150%. Love em. But for me The Living End, wow. First time I have seen them live. They are super awesome, and very Australian. Thanks guys for a great show, super talented and really know how to rock.

It was an amazing festival, great music and vibe. It was such a friendly atmosphere regardless of the weather and the mud.

  • Red Hot Summer Tour 2025 Series 2 - Bands Awesome

by GigGurl on 13/5/25Sandstone Point Hotel - Sandstone PointRating: 5 out of 5

Sandstone Point Hotel hosted two days of the most amazing bands and musicians. The hard rocking blues queen Dallas Frasca: the hard boys of Rose Tattoo: the amazing Baby Animals: the astonishing and face-melting The Living End: the mesmerising George Thorogood And The Destroyers and iconic ZZ Top. Mobile ticketing from Ticketmaster was easy and entry to venue was relatively fast.

concert was awesome ,, stafff did a fantastic done ,, thank you sandstone point hotel ,, even tho it rained it was still a awesome concert

  • Fun in the mud.

by DTM on 12/5/25Sandstone Point Hotel - Sandstone PointRating: 4 out of 5

Parking - plenty of free parking, close to the venue. Entry was efficient and easy. Amenities- great! Easy access to bars. Typical line-ups for toilets. Stage could be viewed easily from anywhere, it wasn't huge, but was a decent size. Plenty of space to sit on the hill. Around the stage is normally grassed but due to the heavy rain it was muddy. I'd happily attend this venue again, it was an excellent festival.

  • Good concert, but why low chairs????

by Leigh-Ann on 12/5/25Sandstone Point Hotel - Sandstone PointRating: 3 out of 5

The requirement that you cannot bring in standard camp chairs is ridiculous. What is the reasoning there if you are allowed to bring a low to ground chair? If everyone is allowed to bring a camp chair then we are all able to be on the same height. It takes up no extra room than a low chair and we would still all see the same. These Red Hot Summer Tours get mostly older crowds, and trying to get out of a chair low to the ground is very difficult to most people over 50 years old which is your primary audience at these shows. The bands were good, the venue is good, and I won't even complain about the weather which is out of anyone's hands, but the chair situation is a joke and the biggest issue of the day (despite the fact we got very wet).
