About

Revered Australian singer-songwriter Pete Murray is set to embark on a mammoth 54-date run that will see Pete expansively tour the country in solo acoustic mode for the first time ever, commencing this May and supported nationally by Rachael Fahim and Brett Wood.

Pete’s largest tour ever and with most shows being all ages, the extensive solo acoustic tour will see him visit a stack of markets he’s never been to, rolling through every pocket of Australia in 2025, with a whopping 54 shows lined up across regional Australia as well as capital cities from May through to early September. Launching on Friday May 9 in Darwin, Pete will journey across the Northern Territory, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT and Western Australia for these special intimate shows, with the mammoth run ultimately concluding on Sunday September 7 in the Blue Mountains.

Pete Murray needs little introduction as one of Australia’s most successful singer-songwriters who has sold over 1.2 million albums, amassed hundreds of millions of streams, released three ARIA chart-topping albums, and boasts 17 ARIA Award nominations amongst multiple other wins and nominations. His upcoming tour will be Pete’s first ever solo tour on home soil, armed with an acoustic guitar and a stunning back catalogue of hits to create his setlists from. “I’ve never done a solo tour in this country before, so it’s been on the cards for a while,” shares Pete. “I’ve done it overseas and people love it - so it’s about time I did it in my own country. There will be some story telling of my songs, my life and career. The shows will be very intimate.”

The smaller intimate venue of Country Club Casino Launceston was a great venue for Pete Murray's Acoustic tour. Thoroughly enjoyed his new material mixed with favourite oldies. Pete, like a good wine, gets better with age. Support artists Brett Wood demonstrated his own exceptional vocal and guitar talent as the 1st solo act. Then followed solo artist Rachael Fahim, showing her great vocal talent and guitar work A top night.

I worked this show & had the pleasure of experiencing (& pride for the Pier) of seeing the show & feeling the euphoria of the crowd in the room & as they left. If you have the chance, jump at the opportunity to attend his current Accoustic Tour. I missed the Wonthaggi tickets but pretty sure that this tour will be successful enough to do the rounds again in 2026!
